Linda Dell Penman started studying pipes in June, 2005. Her Penman name has been proudly traced directly to Scotland. Linda has a master's degree in Counseling Psychology and is currently a counselor with the TDCJ prison school system. She has played solo at several funerals and weddings, and for the Middleton Prison Fallen Officers Ceremony.  She has also performed with the Abilene Pipers at Midnight Rodeo, several Erinshire Folk Festivals, parades, Burns Suppers and various benefits.
